Christmas comes early as Mountain Adventure Camps gets top marks!
Christmas at Mountain Adventure Camps has arrived early this year, not only was summer 2013 a great success with clients experiencing a new chalet and new activities, but we have just been awarded 2 recognised accreditations.
Following a rigorous audit and inspection by the British Activity Providers Association (BAPA), we are pleased to announce that the Adventure Activity Industry Advisory Committee (AAIAC) in the United Kingdom has awarded Mountain Adventure Camps their highest recognition for providers of adventurous activities by awarding us with their Adventuremark.
The Adventuremark is a safety accreditation for providers of adventurous activities and demonstrates that Mountain Adventure Camps arrangements for managing the potential risks of adventure activities have been inspected and found to meet the AAIAC Provider Accreditation standards which define “good practice” in the adventure activity industry.
Furthermore, the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom has awarded Mountain Adventure Camps their LOtC Quality Badge. This is awarded by the Council to those that combine the essential elements of provision, learning and safety into an educational experience which directly benefits educational, social and emotional development.

We work very hard to ensure that we provide exceptionally high quality adventure activities and we have always strived to maintain our excellent safety record of which we are very proud of, whilst at the same time providing an educational experience. From the very beginning we have worked hard to ensure that we follow set guidelines, recruit the right people and work with the right companies to deliver a safe and high standard of adventure programme. We regularly receive great feedback from guests but this inspection and the subsequent recognition from two recognised body’s demonstrates that we are doing things the right way. This is a great testament to the Senior Management team and we now have a firm footing in the Outdoor Education marketplace from which we can further develop our programme.”
